Hi,
We published the results of the Colorfont Workshop at the LGM 2012, in
Vienna.
Photos and details are here:
http://blog.manufacturaindependente.org/2012/06/colorfont-workshop-at-lgm-2…
There's an improved version of Colorfont.js, hacked by Simon Budig
during the workshop:
http://manufacturaindependente.com/colorfont
And the colorfonts by Simon, João Bueno and Claudia Krummenacher:
http://manufacturaindependente.com/colorfont/workshop-lgm2012.html
We're waiting for the fonts done by the other participants.
If you're one of them we want your font! Send it to us :)
Ana & Ricardo
ps. For copyright reasons, regarding the fonts used as base for the
overlay Colorfont, we named each colorfont with a different name --
Oblique, Meta and Beak.
Simon, João and Claudia if you want to pick a different name let us know :)

Piksel has some (not sure if the actual performance was registered) and August was taking video too?
If anyone has audio ... that would be useful!

For those of you, partners and associates, on the invite list; my colleague Katelyn will be in touch with you shortly regarding travel and accomodation arrangements.
On top of that there will be a ticketing system for additional attendees; we'll set up an event page that let's you buy a one- or three-day ticket which basically covers the daily meals (lunch&dinner), so no need for external people to step out for food (so working groups can stay more easily), and also for us it's a good way to know who's coming - and how many of you ;)

Hi all, and thanks for a great time in Bergen!
We generated quite a lot of ideas in the four days. I don't know what
process LGRU has for securing the good ideas that are generated and
discussed, so I am just going to start by putting the ones I know on a
list.
I then hope others will either add to this list or use some other
process to make sure that we don't lose any ideas and can capture as
much of the creativity as possible.
First the ideas that I feel was developed to a useful state during the
event. These have been, to different degrees, documented and
disseminated to the initially relevant audience. Hopefully they can be
developed from there.
1. A journal for changes in a GEGL graph: Allow sharing of undo/redo
history across applications and multiple running applications working
on the same document.
* Specification: http://git.gnome.org/browse/gegl/tree/docs/journal.txt
* Discussion: https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gegl-developer-list/2012-June/msg00004.html
2. Improving file format support in GEGL: Help bring better file
format support and interoperability in libre graphics applications.
* Strategy+Discussion:
https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gegl-developer-list/2012-June/msg00003.html
3. A web based system supporting a continuous work-flow from free-hand
sketch to finished product
* Concept/specification: http://beta.primarypad.com/p/prototype2product
* Discussion: http://listes.domainepublic.net/pipermail/lgru/2012-June/000124.html
4. Making it easier to use GEGL in web-based applications
* Idea/specification/strategy: http://beta.primarypad.com/p/gegl-web
* Discussion: https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gegl-developer-list/2012-June/msg00010.html
And then there were some ideas that I think are good, but we did not
find the time to properly hash out.
* A protocol for applications to notify eachother about open documents
and changes to them.
* File-format agnostic version control for libre graphics
applications/tools by extending git with diff/merge handlers.
* On canvas and command driven user interfaces.
Which ideas discussed during the event do you think are worthy of
preserving and/or working more on?

Jon Nordby - www.jonnor.com
Below is a sketch & technical spec of a system Egil and Jon has been
dreaming up:
Imagine starting from a freehand drawing or imported raster image and
gradually refining this into a technical document with illustrations,
UML-diagrams or even running code or a 3d model.
Imagine doing all of this within a single, collaborative tool; running
in your web browser.
http://beta.primarypad.com/p/prototype2product
Feedback & questions are very welcome either in the pad or on email.
Best regards,
Egil & Jon
