hi all,
we did a rework of the input interface, which should make the use much
more intuitive. in best case it should be self explanatory, therefore i
do not say anything ;)
http://www.forkable.eu/generators/r+w/Q&A
furthermore we set up something like a press kit for the logo, etcpp.
which should be also usable for the website design. if there are any
question, don't hesitate to ask.
http://www.forkable.eu/generators/r+w/o/press/
best regards,
christoph

-----> Announcing Libre Graphics magazine issue 2.1 <-----
This February, Libre Graphics magazine (http://libregraphicsmag.com/)
has reached a major milestone. We have published and shipped issue 2.1,
the first number in our second volume. Titled
"Localization/Internationalisation," this issue explores the unique
problems of non-latin type, the hyper-localisation of custom clothing
patterns and international visual languages, among other topics.
Launched at FOSDEM, this issue marks the beginning of our second volume
of publication, and heralds our move towards an increasingly critical
slant. Exploring not just how Free/Libre Open Source Software can be
used to create high quality art and design, in volume 2, we see a
growing emphasis on the cultural and social issues around F/LOSS and
Free Culture. With 2.1, we discuss issues of regionality. We are
currently seeking submissions
(http://libregraphicsmag.com/2013/02/gendering-floss-issue-2-2-call-for-subm…)
for 2.2, "Gendering F/LOSS," which will revolve around gendered identity
and work in F/LOSS and Free Culture.
We invite both potential readers and submittors to download, view,
write, pull, branch and otherwise engage. We hope, in the coming year
and with the help of a growing community, to further push the work of
F/LOSS art, design and discussion.

P.S: Campaign developed by LAFKON publishing http://www.lafkon.net with help from WORM http://worm.org + Alex Leray + Ale Rimoldi
Dear LGRU list members,
Femke and me are preparing the last bits of a workshop (21-23
February) in the frame of the Co-position research, more precisely
focused on the collision notion. A bit too deeply into it, i've forgot
to
inform you, sorry about that.
Please find the programme hereafter.
The programme we propose is divided in three parts. Thursday morning,
we'll start at 10h with introductions and presentations of various
related projects by participants. Thursday afternoon and Friday
morning, we'll play different "exercices" and practice situations of
collision. Friday afternoon, after lunch, we'll go out for a brief
fieldtrip and, back to Variable, we'll start prototyping following 3
different axes.
Each day we'll start at 10h and we'll try to finish at 18h. We'll have
coffee ready at 9:30 every day.
Practically :
The address is Constant Variable, Rue Gallaitstraat 80, Brussels
http://variable.constantvzw.org/define/index.php/Route
Dates: 21-23 February 2013, 10:00-18:00
We'll be around 20 participants (see
http://blogs.lgru.net/collision/?page_id=30), participation is free
and the bio belgian lunchs are included!
More explanation and the updated programme is on http://blogs.lgru.net/collision

14:00 – Fieldtrip: Border stone meets elephant
Pierre and Femke introduce three possible approaches in response to a
specific cartographic collision. We'll form three groups, to develop
each a mini-prototype.
As a startingpoint, we invite each group to think with us about (one
of) the following questions:
- Could we imagine how reverse placement could bring another approach
to toponomy?
- What if the visualisation of geographic data would allow for tension
and conflict to become visible?
- How to imagine thresholds as relational parameters, rather than as
binary borders?
(research/discussion materials will be provided)
